Set Up Goals: For all teams with 9:00 games
1] Unlock the goals from the fence using combo: check with coach,
regional commissioner, div manager or Region 64 field manager.
Coaches can receive a hard copy Goal-Combo Card from Art at Crossroad’s
chevron on the corner of Deanza and Steven’s creek. Relock the chain &
lock during the games.
2] Pull goals away from fence and tilt them forward. Grab middle of top
bar and drag them into place. If it is too heavy for some - grab a
volunteer and two can easily handle.
Deploy Nets, Stake goals, corner flags, ref bag & Garbage Cans:
3] Unlock storage shed [located at southwest entrance to the U8 fields along
Wisteria drive.] and garbage cans chained to fence using combo (see above).
Relock the chain & lock during the games.
4] Corner flags are inside of shed - deploy to each field.
5] Take net basket out of shed and walk to each goal. Install each net with
bungee fasteners to goal. Use about 10 bungee per net.
6] Stake each goal with 4 stakes & hammer - from orange ref bag.
7] Put ref. bag between fields-ice packs are in side pockets. If extra
bags, place one behind each field’s near goal.
8] Take garbage can liners from dispenser box in shed. Put a liner in each can
and place one between first field back and fence line. The other in
